# How to use AI in marketing without losing your brand voice

> AI helps you write faster. Your team's job is to give it real facts and decide what deserves to go out under your brand's name.

## The problem starts before the tool

Ask an AI tool for ten captions for your restaurant without telling it what you cooked, what customers asked yesterday, or who serves the food. You will probably get ten lines that could describe any restaurant. The tool saved time; the details that make your brand recognizable still have to come from someone who was there.

[Merca2.0 cites a Statista report](https://www.merca20.com/the-paradox-of-ai-in-advertising-and-marketing-brands-gain-efficiency-while-59-of-consumers-fear-losing-the-human-touch/) saying 59% of surveyed consumers mentioned the loss of a human touch as a risk of business AI use. The survey covered Australia, Canada, the UK, and the US. Your audience may respond differently; the useful question for your next post is whether it sounds like someone who knows what you sell.

## How to use AI without losing your brand voice

Use it to organize drafts, summarize comments, compare posts, or spot repeated questions. Give it material your team knows: real customer messages, previous posts, product decisions, and brand limits. Ask for a draft based on those facts, then have the person responsible for the account review it.

In HeyMark, keep the photo, idea, versions, and team comments with the same post. If you ask Mark for copy, first add the observation that must survive the edit. Someone on the team verifies the fact and approves the final version before scheduling. Once it is live, compare the questions it receives with earlier posts on the same topic.

## A five-minute review

Read the copy without your brand name. Find a sentence a competitor could use and replace it with a specific fact. Check that it describes the product or experience accurately. Finally, ask whether you would use those words when answering a customer.

If the answer is no, edit before scheduling. The useful saving comes from spending less time assembling information and more time deciding what is worth saying.

## Plan your next post in HeyMark.

Keep the idea, review the draft with your team, and see how it performed in the accounts you connected.
