# Connect Instagram to Claude to post, reply and analyze > To connect Instagram to Claude, you add HeyMark as a custom connector with the URL https://mcp.heymark.ai and approve access with your account. The same connection covers TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube too. ## How to connect Instagram to Claude First you need a HeyMark account with Instagram connected under My accounts (the trial runs 14 days). Then it's six steps in Claude, done once. ### Open Connectors On claude.ai, open Settings and go to Connectors, under Customize. You can also go straight to [claude.ai/settings/connectors](https://claude.ai/settings/connectors). ### Add a custom connector Select Add, then Add custom connector. Claude asks for a name and the MCP server URL. ### Paste HeyMark's URL Enter HeyMark as the name, paste `https://mcp.heymark.ai` and select Add. It's the same URL for everyone and there are no keys to generate: the authorization in the next step is what links Claude to your account. ### Connect and authorize Open HeyMark in your connector list and select Connect. HeyMark opens in your browser: sign in and approve the access. ### Choose the permissions Under Connectors, HeyMark, all three tool categories start at Needs approval. The practical setup is Always allow, so you don't approve every read. If you'd rather have Claude ask before every change, leave the write category on Needs approval: HeyMark still asks for its own preview before publishing now or replying. ### Turn it on in the chat and run a test Having it in Settings doesn't turn it on in every chat. Open a chat, select +, go to Connectors and leave HeyMark enabled. Then send the verification prompt: the answer should include specific data from your account. ### Verification prompt ```text Before we start, check HeyMark and tell me what you can access from my Instagram account: which accounts are there, how far back you can see posts, which metrics you have per post and what audience data exists. Yes. With HeyMark connected, Claude creates the post, schedules it and publishes it, whether it's a Reel, a story, a feed post or a carousel.
