OpenAI and Oracle Prepare Oracle Apps for ChatGPT

OpenAI and Oracle announced on October 27, 2026, a collaboration to bring Oracle apps and data into ChatGPT, as well as to develop Oracle products and services using OpenAI models and products. Oracle AI Workspace, a planned ChatGPT experience

Oracle is developing AI Workspace as an integration for ChatGPT. The described experience would let users state a task in natural language, find information in Oracle apps, and complete approved business workflows. The example in the announcement concerns a finance team: someone could investigate costs, understand purchasing decisions, and check what remains to be done before month-end close, bringing together information from finance, procurement, and planning. The announcement also lists three offerings with distinct scopes. Oracle AI Security Mesh is designed to help identify and fix vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure within an authorized scope. Oracle AI SMB Bundle combines ChatGPT Business, Codex, Oracle apps, and recurring Oracle Cloud Infrastructure credits. Purchase access in the United States

Separate from AI Workspace, Oracle customers in the United States can buy access to OpenAI API, Codex, and ChatGPT Work through Oracle Marketplace.
