TikTok LIVE replay missing: where to look and what to check

By HeyMark · Updated

If you ended a LIVE and can’t find its recording, first look in TikTok Studio using the account that hosted it. You can download the replay if it appears; TikTok says recordings are available for 30 days.

Find your LIVE replay

In the TikTok app:

  1. Tap Profile, then the ☰ menu.
  2. Open TikTok Studio and tap LIVE.
  3. Go to LIVE recordings.

You can also check the LIVE Center. Make sure you are in the account that hosted the broadcast and that no more than 30 days have passed since it ended. TikTok lists both locations in its LIVE replay help.

If it appears, download it before doing anything else

Find the replay and tap Download. TikTok also lets you create a clip with Clip, edit it, and post it or save it for later. Avoid Delete while checking whether you have the right recording. A replay being available in the archive does not mean it is automatically posted to your profile.

If it is missing or still processing

TikTok’s help does not say how long processing takes or provide a specific fix for a stuck replay. Its status alone does not identify the cause. If the LIVE ended less than 30 days ago, check TikTok Studio and the LIVE Center again later without deleting the recording or selecting Delete.

If it is still missing, report the issue from the correct account: Profile → Menu ☰ → Settings and privacy → Help Center → Chat with us. TikTok also offers an online form; choose a topic and follow the steps. You can describe when the LIVE ended and what status you see. Attach a screenshot only if the form asks for or allows one. Sending a report does not confirm that the replay can be recovered.

See it on your own accounts.
