Metricool Pricing in 2026: Plans, Add-ons and What You'll Actually Pay
As of September 2026, Metricool has a free plan (1 brand, 20 posts a month, no LinkedIn or X), Starter from $20 USD a month billed yearly ($25 monthly) for 5 brands, and Advanced from $53 a month billed yearly ($67 monthly) for 15 brands and a team. Prices exclude VAT, and each X account costs an extra $10 USD a month.

Metricool’s pricing and plans changed three times between December 2025 and July 2026: the free plan got smaller, paid plans went up, and the X add-on doubled. Old numbers are still floating around, like 50 free posts or plans from $18 USD, even on some of Metricool’s own pages. This is the picture as of September 25, 2026, taken from its pricing page and help center, plus what you’d actually pay based on your brands, your people and your networks. Metricool also calls its paid plans Premium in places, so “Metricool Premium” means the plans below.
Metricool plans in 2026
| Plan | Brands | USD, annual | USD, monthly | EUR, annual | EUR, monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | Free | Free | Free | Free |
| Starter | 5 | $20 | $25 | €16 | €20 |
| Starter | 10 | $36 | $45 | €29 | €37 |
| Advanced | 15 | $53 | $67 | €43 | €54 |
| Advanced | 25 | $85 | $107 | €69 | €87 |
| Advanced | 50 | $159 | $210 | €130 | €172 |
How to read the table:
- You pay by brand. A brand is a container with one profile per network: one Instagram account, one TikTok account, one LinkedIn profile, and so on. Each Google Business Profile location needs its own brand.
- Yearly or monthly. The yearly price is shown per month, but you pay for the full year up front. Metricool advertises savings of up to 24%: Starter with 5 brands is $20 USD a month instead of $25 (20% less), and Advanced with 50 brands is $159 instead of $210.
- Dollars or euros only. Metricool bills in those two currencies, with no local-currency pricing.
- Custom. Above 50 brands, pricing is a conversation with sales. White label and embedding Metricool in your own product are Custom-only.
Metricool’s free plan: what it includes now and what it lost
Today, Metricool’s free plan includes:
- 1 brand (you can’t delete it or add another), with 1 profile per network.
- 20 posts a month.
- 30 days of analytics, watermarked.
- 5 AI credits a month for its writing assistant.
- An inbox covering Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, TikTok and YouTube.
- Its MCP server, with the same plan limits.
It doesn’t include LinkedIn or X, PDF or PPT reports, SmartLinks (its link-in-bio tool), hashtag search, the post library, Canva, Google Drive, Looker Studio, Zapier, Make or Flows. Metricool spells it out in its help article on free vs. paid plans.
What it lost: in the December 14, 2025 capture of its pricing page on the Wayback Machine, the free plan included 50 posts a month and 3 months of history. By the February 9, 2026 capture, it was down to 20 posts and 30 days: 60% fewer posts. If you’re weighing Metricool against Buffer, which also has a free plan, we compare them in Metricool vs Buffer.
Starter: 5 or 10 brands for one person
Starter is $20 USD a month billed yearly ($25 monthly) with 5 brands, and $36 ($45) with 10. Compared with the free plan, it adds LinkedIn, the option to buy X, 20 AI credits per brand a month, and access to the Advanced Analytics add-on. What it leaves out tends to surprise people:
- Team members. Starter is for one person. Adding anyone else means moving to Advanced.
- Approvals. Having a client approve posts before they go out is an Advanced feature.
- API, Zapier and Make. Advanced and Custom only.
- Full Metricool Studio. Without the Advanced Analytics add-on, its AI reports are capped at 2 views and 5 versions.
Some comparison pages say LinkedIn costs extra on Metricool. It doesn’t: it’s included from Starter up, and only the free plan leaves it out. X is the only network sold as an add-on.
Advanced: the plan for teams
Advanced starts at $53 USD a month billed yearly ($67 monthly) with 15 brands, and goes to $85 ($107) with 25 and $159 ($210) with 50. It’s the first plan with:
- Unlimited team members, roles and approvals.
- API, Zapier, Make and Looker Studio.
- Customizable report templates.
- 35 AI credits per brand a month.
If you have one or two brands and want to add a single person, you still pay for the 15-brand plan. For an agency with a team and more than 10 brands, on the other hand, it’s the plan that fits.
The add-ons that raise the bill
- X (Twitter): $10 USD a month per account. In effect since July 13, 2026; it was $5 before. If you already had the add-on, you keep the old price as long as you keep at least one account on it. Available from Starter up. Details in its X add-on guide.
- Advanced Analytics: from $12 USD a month on Starter and from $36 on Advanced. Metricool lists these as starting prices and charges them at the account level, across all your brands. It unlocks full Metricool Studio, unlimited campaign dashboards and 30-day advanced analytics.
- Hashtag Tracker: $25 USD per day, to track a hashtag on X or Instagram.
- Flows: no extra cost for a limited time on paid plans. Metricool has announced it will become a paid add-on. It’s not on the free plan or in the mobile app.
AI credits aren’t an add-on: they come per brand (5, 20 or 35 a month depending on the plan), you can’t buy more, and they don’t roll over.
The March 2026 price increase
Between the February 9 and March 14, 2026 captures of its pricing page on the Wayback Machine, every paid plan went up: 11% to 24% in US dollars. In euros, Starter with 5 brands and Advanced with 15 went up 10% to 14%. Until that increase, yearly prices hadn’t changed since at least March 2024.
| Plan (USD per month) | Before: yearly / monthly | Since March 2026 | Increase |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter, 5 brands | $18 / $22 | $20 / $25 | 11% / 14% |
| Starter, 10 brands | $31 / $38 | $36 / $45 | 16% / 18% |
| Advanced, 15 brands | $45 / $54 | $53 / $67 | 18% / 24% |
| Advanced, 25 brands | $72 / $88 | $85 / $107 | 18% / 22% |
| Advanced, 50 brands | $139 / $172 | $159 / $210 | 14% / 22% |
If you’re already on a plan and Metricool raises prices again, its terms say you’ll get at least 15 days’ notice before your renewal.
The fine print: refunds, fair use and VAT
- Refunds. You get a 15-day withdrawal window on your first purchase only. Renewals aren’t refundable, neither is the cycle in progress, and subscriptions renew automatically. If you pay yearly, note your renewal date. Source: its article on the subscription model.
- Fair use. “Unlimited” means up to 600 posts per brand a month. Past that threshold, your account goes into manual review and you can’t publish while it lasts. Source: its fair use policy.
- VAT. Published prices don’t include it; whatever applies is added on top.
- Where you buy. Plans are managed on the web. The app stores sell a “Starter Mobile 5” plan, which doesn’t include Flows.
How much is Metricool in practice? Four setups
The starting price doesn’t tell you much: your bill depends on how many brands, people and X accounts you have. Here are four common setups, with list prices in USD per month as of September 2026, before VAT. For Metricool, the first figure is billed yearly and the second is month to month. Next to it is what HeyMark, the tool that publishes this page, would cost on monthly billing, so you can also see when Metricool is the cheaper option.
| Setup | Metricool | HeyMark |
|---|---|---|
| One person, 1 brand, needs LinkedIn | Starter, 5 brands: $20 USD or $25. With one X account: $30 or $35 | Creator: $12 USD. Doesn’t post to X |
| Small business, 1 brand, 3 people | Advanced, 15 brands, because Starter has no team members: $53 or $67 | Company: $30, 5 people included |
| One person, 8 client brands, no X | Starter, 10 brands: $36 or $45. If all 8 use X: $116 or $125 | Company plus 5 extra brands: $80 |
| Agency, 4 people, 12 brands | Advanced, 15 brands: $53 or $67. With Advanced Analytics, from $89 or $103 | Company plus 9 extra brands: $120, or a Platform quote |
Where each sum comes from:
- X: $10 USD per account. One account on top of Starter with 5 brands gives you $30 or $35; eight accounts ($80) on top of Starter with 10 brands give you $116 or $125.
- Advanced Analytics: starts at $36 USD on Advanced, so Advanced with 15 brands comes to at least $89 or $103.
- HeyMark Company: $30 USD a month with 3 brands, and each extra brand is $10. Five extra is $50 ($80 total) and nine is $90 ($120).
Metricool is cheaper in setups 3 and 4: if you schedule 8 or 12 brands, Starter and Advanced cost less than HeyMark, even if your clients need to approve posts (in setup 3 you’d move to Advanced, at $53 or $67). HeyMark is cheaper in setups 1 and 2, especially when you add people to a handful of brands. What the table doesn’t show: HeyMark includes AI replies to comments and DMs and keyword automations on every plan, but doesn’t post to X or manage ads; Metricool adds ads and more networks, and its inbox doesn’t document AI replies. The full comparison is on HeyMark vs Metricool.
Which Metricool plan fits you
- Free, if you have one brand, 20 posts a month are enough, and you don’t need LinkedIn or X.
- Starter with 5 brands, if you work without a team and outgrew the free plan, whether because of LinkedIn, X or a second brand.
- Starter with 10 brands, if you freelance for 6 to 10 clients and don’t need them to approve inside the tool.
- Advanced, if more than one person works in the account, if clients approve inside the tool, or if you need the API, Zapier, Make or Looker Studio.
- Custom, if you have more than 50 brands or want white label.
If what you need is something Metricool doesn’t do, like AI that answers your inbox, see the Metricool alternatives. If you manage client accounts, HeyMark for agencies covers how it handles client brands and approvals.
