TikTok MCP server: post to TikTok from Claude or ChatGPT

You tell Claude “take the Reel we posted on Instagram Tuesday, move it to TikTok with Duet and Stitch off, and schedule it for Friday at 8 p.m.” Your assistant copies the post without re-uploading the video or pasting the caption, sets up the TikTok side and leaves it scheduled on your team’s calendar. That’s HeyMark’s TikTok MCP server: it connects your account to Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client that supports OAuth, so you can post to TikTok from Claude under your own login and permissions.

Videos and photo carousels

It creates, schedules and publishes videos and photo carousels. A carousel gets its own title, separate from the caption, and holds up to 35 files. In clients that show HeyMark’s picker, your assistant can also open it so you choose the video cover.

TikTok’s own settings

Every post goes out with its TikTok settings, and your assistant can set them for you:

• Privacy: who can see the post.
• Comments, Duet and Stitch: whether you allow them.
• Commercial content: whether you’re promoting your own brand or it’s branded content for a third party.
• AI-generated content: the label TikTok shows on content you made with AI.

Duplicate from Instagram

What you built for Instagram you can duplicate for TikTok without re-uploading the file or copying the caption. The copy lands as a draft with the files and compatible settings, and you set the TikTok-only ones before scheduling. If you run Instagram too, the Instagram MCP server covers that side.

Metrics and comments

TikTok is part of HeyMark’s analytics overview: followers, views and interactions against the previous period. Per post, your assistant reads views, likes, comments and engagement. It also reads the comments, drafts replies and posts them once you approve.

Keyword automations

Both rules work on TikTok: the comment rule, which replies publicly and sends a DM to whoever comments the word, and the DM rule, which answers whoever sends the word by direct message. Each rule takes up to 20 keywords, applies to one post or the whole brand, and uses no credits.

What needs your approval

Publishing right away, replying to a comment and creating or changing an automation show you a preview to approve first. Creating drafts, duplicating and scheduling run right away. On TikTok that matters: privacy and disclosures travel with the scheduled post, so ask your assistant to show you the draft’s settings before you schedule. What gets published is your call.

How to connect it

1. In HeyMark, open My accounts in your brand and connect TikTok.
2. Add the URL https://mcp.heymark.ai to your assistant: in Claude as a custom connector (guide for Claude) and in ChatGPT with developer mode (guide for ChatGPT). The Claude Code and Codex commands are in the MCP documentation.
3. Approve the access when HeyMark opens in your browser, then ask your assistant to list your brands and tell you which TikTok account it sees.

Limits

• It isn’t an official TikTok MCP server. It uses the account you connected in HeyMark, with your permissions.
• Each brand connects one TikTok account.
• Scheduling has no preview: a scheduled post goes out on time with its saved settings.
• If a video misses a TikTok requirement, the tool returns the error. You fix it in the same draft instead of creating another one.
• TikTok accepting the request doesn’t mean the post is live. Ask your assistant to check the actual status.
• It doesn’t manage paid ads, and there’s no public REST API yet.
